More than 80% of the home's care workers are qualified in Health & Social Care to NVQ level 2 or level 3 (or the equivalent), whilst a few are currently working towards completing an NVQ qualification. The home's Manager has achieved NVQ level 4 and passed the Registered Manager's Award.
A full in-house training program covering all of the required areas ensures that the home's care workers have a good understanding of how to cope with the complexities of increasing frailty and people suffering from dementia.
The home's owners & managers are proud that Quarry Mount is recognised as an “Investor in People”. Its last IIP assessment (in May 2008) was passed with flying colours and the assessor said she was very impressed with all aspects of the business.
